LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is a system which allows you to obtain a cloud of points from the land using an aerial laser scan.
The LiDAR components are:
■ Aerial laser scan.
■ Differential GPS using a receiver in the aircraft and several ground stations.
■ INS (Inertial Navigation System)
■ Aircraft or helicopter.
■ Optionally equipped with video camera.
From these data, which can also be taken using a scanner mounted on a vehicle, or on a fixed tripod, TTYC has the technology to analyze these data and obtain information which depends on each case can be transformed into different products with corresponding value.
We can obtain topographical maps, digital land models, longitudinal and transverse profiles which can be applied to engineering works…etc

Using the scan system installation mounted on a vehicle with a differential GPS and video camera, ttyC has made 3D models for firm and state inspections and different inventories such as the state road marking, painting, side protection state in slope area, etc ...
This system allows us, among other applications:
■ Carry out supervision of work
■ Control of settlements
■ Review and maintenance of structures
■ Modeling and object maps when we have no maps (Reverse Engineering)
■ Obtaining final maps where certain components have been modified (As-Built Drawings)
■ Dimensional quality control, obtaining three-dimensional documentation
SCANNING OF HIGH VOLTAGE SUPPORTS
TTYC has the technology and terrestrial scanning equipment needed to define with pinpoint quality any existing support even if we do not know the dimensional characteristics, with the possibility to get a high-definition 3D model by scanning millions of points depending on the complexity of the support and its geometrical characteristics.
By a scanning system on fixed points, TTYC has made highly accurate models of Power Lines Supports using specialized software called Cyclone, from Leyca. This software enables us to scan any item from several different points, eliminating any uncertainty, and then we can place them in the same coordinate system so all that points can be treated evenly.
